One Star

One star. One last chance. We have to make this right.

I woke up by the sound of another explosion, they have been going on for months now. Some people think that the explosions are from the war, i think they just don't want to realize what really is going on. Last time this happened was in my solar system. It doesn't exist anymore. Our star died. My parents sent me here as a child right before the star exploded. I guess they knew what was going to happened. I was the only one who survived. Everyone else refused to believe that the star was just going to stop existing. I try not to think about it too much. But now this star is dying to, and there's nowhere else to go. This was everyone's last hope. Everybody that are still alive in the universe is right here in this solar system.

Someone was knocking on the door, i was about to open it when a second explosion happened. This one was the biggest one so far and i fell down on the floor. I stood up and opened the door, the person outside was some kind of elf who probably worked for one of the security companies that always check up on everyone after the explosions.
 “Are you okay?”
“I'm fine, i was just about to leave. I'm late for work”
“You should not be outside.” He looked down at the ground and paused for a bit. “Haven't you watch the news?” His face turned blank like he just saw a ghost. I knew this was going to happen sooner or later, the star was going to die even if people didn't want to believe it. I still asked him what happened even if i knew what he was going to say.
 “No, what happened?”
“Its getting worse. I need to leave and check up on others.”
 “Bye.”
I turned on my TV to see if they were talking about what happened on the news.

Give me ideas of how to continue this story in the comments and i might just use them.
